Being green is good for the environment and your wallet!

Our team can help you implement green solutions that protect the environment, improve indoor air quality, and plan more energy efficient spaces, which will help you save money in both the short and long term.

Not only do we offer products & solutions that are environmentally friendly, we also pride ourselves in operating in a very green way. Did you know that we recycle some of the old cubicle materials to protect materials that we ship? This helps the environment by reducing the amount of waste sent to the landfill, but it also saves our clients money as we can reuse these materials instead of buying materials such as furniture pads and other types of wrapping.

We partner with the industry leaders who also practice green initiatives to provide long lasting product with high recycled content, green materials and take back programs to ensure product is recycled at the end of its life. Haworth , our largest manufacturer, is the first supplier to move to Zero Waste manufacturing.

LEED certification

Remanufacturing not only saves on labor and manufacturing costs, it also uses fewer raw materials and conserves energy. Our remanufactured furniture can enhances your efforts toward sustainability to earn your business credits towards LEED recognition. (Note that you do need to apply separately to qualify. More information can be found on the Canada Green Building Council)

LEED initiatives are good for you, but good for your employees too. According the Canada Green Building Council: “Green buildings create a healthier indoor environment for occupants through better indoor air quality, less harmful products, and more natural daylight. They also reduce waste, conserve energy, decrease water consumption, and drive innovation. All of this can positively affect your bottom line and boost productivity.

Remanufacturing helps keep furniture that still has life left out of the landfill. You may choose to remanufacture your existing furniture, but we can also help find additional pieces of previously used furniture or new items, depending on your specific needs. Mixing the old and the new can be the best of the both worlds as remanufacturing is cost efficient, but a few new pieces can help you keep up with the latest office trends, such as collaborative spaces.

Our remanufacturing department – one of the largest in North America – cleans, inspects and renews more than 3,000 spaces each year, giving previously-loved products a new life. Not only is great furniture saved from landfills, we are confident you’ll find what you need to make the most of your space.

“We offer the same lifetime performance warranty as our manufacturer; Haworth!”
